WGSDPA TRIALS

 WGSDPA Clubs can utilize DVG LV America, AWMA or other AWDF member clubs' judges to host a local trial provided they agree and do not have a scheduling conflict. Contact germanshepherddogsport@gmail.com and please put Local Trial Permission Request on the subject line, please. We will take care of the "three week prior to event" advertising requirement after your club and the judge agree on a date, etc. Please note judge's require an honorarium for a travel day and the weekend, meaning Saturday and Sunday, plus their travel expenses and it is up to you to ensure competitors understand decorum, Recently, a number of judges have commented that some handlers interrupt the critique with "but......" The honorarium and compensating for costs is the custom and is more than fair as judges sacrifice time away from home and their families and their own training to judge. 

The WGSDPA will commence a Judges' Program (To be completed in 2023). We will pay the membership fee to another organization so our judges can trial/compete outside the WGSDPA as we encourage outside trialing and interaction instead of a "don't participate in that trial or support another organization" ridiculous, closed-minded attitude.
